The BC Tourism Industry’s Road to Olympic Gold Begins Here
Welcome to Tourism 2010!
The Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games present an unprecedented opportunity for British Columbia’s tourism industry. To harness this opportunity, it is critical to work in partnership with industry, government and other key players including the Vancouver Organization Committee (VANOC). Sharing timely information and ideas on upcoming opportunities in a coordinated fashion will be an essential ingredient to our success.
That’s why we have created the Tourism 2010 e-bulletin – to connect you with the latest news and information on 2010 Winter Games-related topics important to BC’s tourism industry.
Published quarterly, Tourism 2010 gives you a big picture perspective on what the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts and our partners in your region are doing to maximize the tourism benefits before, during and after the Games. Browse the latest research and field reports for strategic intelligence to help you make your business moves. Tap into marketing and media relations ideas and keep up on events coming to your area.
We have also created Tourism2010.com, your one-stop resource centre for Games-related tourism information. Check back often. Our library will grow steadily with valuable information as we ramp up our industry, marketing, travel media and research activities in support of 2010 opportunities.
We hope you find our Tourism 2010 e-bulletin and expanded online resource centre helpful for your business, and of course, we’d like to hear your feedback. Drop us a note at tourism2010@gov.bc.ca and let us know about topics you’d like to see covered and how we can help you on your own road to success.
